Asia’s largest food innovation exhibition, SIAL China, is strategically located in Shanghai, a gateway to Asia, and a global center of finance and innovation.
Since 2000, SIAL China has served as a launchpad for food and beverage companies looking to expand abroad, and inspiring food business though sharing valuable insights and trends, connecting exhibitors and buyers, hosting industry-recognized events, and celebrating innovation.
From May 13-15, 2020, SIAL China will welcome an anticipated 4,500 exhibitors and 123,000 professional buyers and visitors as it celebrates its 20 year anniversary and continues the work of inspiring food business.
An inspiring 4,300 exhibitors and 117,595 professional buyers and visitors attended SIAL China in 2019.
By sheer volume, the 2019 edition grew 23 percent to 199,500 square meters of exhibition space, equivalent to 27 football fields.
In 2019, nearly half of all exhibitors, 49%, came from overseas markets with the ten largest contingents coming from Korea, Russia, Brazil, Austria, Argentina, the USA, Turkey, Spain, Poland, and Germany.
Since we continuously strive to improve, we asked exhibitors if they were satisfied with their results, and 91% of exhibitors said yes. And an additional 86% said that they would be willing to recommend the exhibition to others.
