Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato Srl : A winery charm of an ancient trade created to evoke and recall the values and bonds of San Venanzio Fortunato lands

“It is our poetry, our culture, the charm of an ancient trade.”

–  Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato Srl

The Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato winery is located right next to the most prestigious and renowned DOCG, the Cartizze, recovering a family space already used for woodworking. It is a place of personal affection, close to our heart, but also to that of the Prosecco Superiore Docg area of Valdobbiadene.

It is here that the philosophy of their winery finds its foundations, together with the care and respect for traditional practices, for attention to work details, in search of the least invasive interventions possible. This is the road through which Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato Srl company seeks quality to produce their Prosecco Superiore Docg.

The choice of Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato Srl cellar is to offer a small but accurate production of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Superiore di Cartizze Brut and Dry , the result of a careful selection of grapes all produced in Valdobbiadene, of a rigorous processing and the least invasive possible.

The wine cellar Le Terre di San Venanzio is made up of names and surnames, faces and stories that represent the strength, heart and soul of everything. In each of their bottles you will find an extra ingredient: the passion of all these people.

The Winemakers

Luca Antiga , one of the best noses in Conegliano Valdobbiadene , is the oenologist who has been following us since 2014 and has been able to support and enhance the new ideas with which the winery wants to distinguish.

His creature, the result of endless tastings to find the perfect balance between the characteristics of Prosecco and a longer maturation on yeasts, is Brut Demi Long.

THE MISSION

Founded in 2007 by the passion and experience of Gabriele Gregolo and Monica Ganz, the Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato winery takes its name from the namesake poet San Venanzio Fortunato, born in Valdobbiadene in late Latin, who left some magnificent texts on vine cultivation and on wine.

Inspired by the figure of San Venanzio Fortunato, their winery was created to evoke and recall the values and bonds to our lands, as the poet did. Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato Srl wine is thus their poetry, the praise to the Valdobbiadene area, to their culture, to the charm of an ancient trade that, day by day, they are fortunate to live and transmit.

The processing of our Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato wine involves a very strict control of the prosecco temperature in all its production phases, in order to preserve the typical aromas of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore and a long decantation protocol for an absolutely natural decantation of the wine.

TERRITORY – LANDS OF SAN VENANZIO

Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato Srl think of Valdobbiadene, inevitably their thinking leads them through a territory where culture, tradition and landscape intertwine to create a masterpiece that involves all the senses. The Valdobbiadene territory emerges, with the watchful eye of the observer, with its gentle hills, the bright green of the vineyards in spring and summer, punctuated from time to time, by a small country church or by an ancient village of houses in bricks.
