Achille Viglione: Where To Find Famous Barolo Wines?

Are you looking for famous Barolo wines in italy?

NEVER MISS ACHILLE VIGLIONE!

The ACHILLE VIGLIONE sas. winery is located in the SERRALUNGA D’ALBA near the centre of Langhe Hills in Alba (Piedmont). The vineyards have been grown for thousands of years and the grapes are grown with the famous BAROLO wines. The company is a family business, Rossana with Achille, his sons: Francesco and Monica, his brothers Elio and Carlo. They still use traditional methods and practices in vineyards and cellars.

A POETIC IMAGE IN THEIR VINEYARD

Everything here is the same as it used to be: strictly following the phases of the moon. The vineyard is still taken care of by hand, providing plenty of natural breathing space for the roots of the vines and allowing the correct absorption of rainwater and penetration of the sun’s rays to cater to the maturity of the plump and juicy grapes in autumn.

There is never a hurry to get the harvest underway, because it is the last rays of sunshine in the autumn that give the touch of quality that distinguishes our wines, making them so widely appreciated by connoisseurs throughout the world.

Achille

Their diligence has received many credits from both wine-lovers and medias. Paticuliarly, their wine BARBARESCO D.O.C.G. JACCO 2013 RISERVA and BARBERA D’ALBA D.O.C. 2011 ROSS won the GOLD MEDAL in AIN WINE CHALLENGE 2018!

Barbaresco

BARBARESCO D.O.C.G. JACCO 2013 RISERVA

ProductionLate picking and painstaking selection of nebbiolo grapes grown in a small, particularly prestigious place.

Alcohol:   14% by vol.

Tasting notes: A highly intense, long-lasting floral scent, clear and ethereal, and distinctly distinct with a pronounced withering rose, small fruit, and tar and tufted patterns. Full, dry, earthy flavor, with body, breeding, strong tannins and a good aromatic finish; a rigorous, flawless wine with a rich personality.

Pairing advice: It requires a chance to meditate, allowing its superior quality and complex aroma to be discovered slowly. It goes perfectly with beef stew, hares, chamois, truffle-flavored pheasants, turkeys and very mature cheeses.

Barbera

BARBERA D’ALBA D.O.C. 2011 ROSS

Alcohol:   13.5% by vol.

Tasting notes: Deep ruby-red, with a long, full and transparent bouquet implying violets, vanilla, plums and grasses; very balanced, elegant, velvety with a powerful body.

Pairing advice: Perfect with courses of strong meat or mature cheeses, it is also recommended with pasta dishes.
