HARMONY WITH SOIL AND NATURAL RHYTHM
In the village of Cormòns, the DRIUS family brewery produced a generation of wine that is now run by Mauro and his family. Based on a tradition that is in harmony with the soil and natural rhythm, the Drius Winery produces wines that are typical of the wine region. The grapes come from the Drius vineyards. They are distributed on about 15 hectares of the Qurain hillside in the Collio region, as far as the Isonzo River plain at the foot of the Collio region. The severe soils of Collon’s marl and Isonzo plains are obstructed by the northern winds of the Alps and enjoy the beneficial climatic effects of the ocean, Creating ideal conditions for grape culture. 
The quality of the grapes is very much emphasized in the grape growing, which is very important for the production of typical wines in the area. In order to protect organically grown vineyards from certain parasites, Drius uses environmentally friendly products. The grapes are manually harvested with careful attention.
Also, we are proud to mention that Drius‘s wines, Merlot and Vignis Di Siris won the GOLD MEDAL in AIN WINE CHALLENGE 2018!
